“Excellent quality in both materials and workmanship, Suzanne created a custom set of these dice pattern placemats for me. The measurements, colors, and accents are exactly what I requested. Suzanne is a pleasure to work with and will make every effort to satisfy her customers. Mats arrived well packaged, no damage anywhere, in a timely manner. Added touch of inside tissue wrapping with a ribbon tied in a pretty bow just added to this very enjoyable experience. So grateful people like Suzanne exist as I was born with a “black” thumb when it comes to the domestic arts of sewing, crafts, design, etc. Thanks, Suzanne!!”
I lovewhen this happens!
It’s always a pleasure to know the things I have created have found happy forever homes!
(Official Video) .. Song off soundtrack I and friend made for my cancer journey video, ‘Cancer Can’t.’ (coming soon..)
We wanted all original songs and one that sounded, “radiationY.. ”
We set out to find the right sounds.
Radiationy was born.
Dubstep seemed natural choice.
.. song is on Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/handmadeink/radiationy. A music video just had to happen. Hope you enjoy.
Everything is less intimidating, in rainbow. Radiationy. Song off soundtrack I and a friend made on Garage Band for movie of my cancer journey, ‘Cancer Can’t.’ We wanted all original songs and one that sounded, “radiationY.. “ We set out to find the right sounds. Last Friday my fellow dancers threw me a benefit. They all danced, little did they know I’d feel well enough to dance at least a few dances. We dance an improvisational dance, my fellow shimmy sisters in my American Tribal Style (ATS) belly dance troupe, out are of Hasting, Nebraska. There is a whole community all over America. I love being a part of it. Thanks for reading. Have a great Thanksgiving! -Suzanne
Got call personally from oncologist. Chemo is not working. Tumor has grown. I refused my 1 day chemo today. Surgery talk again, (even though this could paralyze, or mess me up WORSE..) They’re regrouping new sarcoma doctors, meeting Thursday in Omaha. I want to see the ocean. I want to sit beside it, maybe get in, and I want to just look out, maybe paint it. (Give me canvas’, all I want to do is paint!) I don’t want to talk to think, feel, I just want to.. NOT be sick anymore.
In the meantime, I needed to get outside. 2 of my sons went with me to the river to help cheer me up. We took some pictures, shared some hummus and laughs.
